Section A – General Provisions

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to Compass Marketing Real Estate SRL, as well as to any additional company that joins the group in the future (collectively: the “Group” or “We”). This website, located at www.compassgroup.ro (the “Website”), is owned and operated by and on behalf of the Group.

This Policy explains what data we process, why, and how, with respect to Website users, prospective and actual purchasers, and anyone contacting us regarding the “Compass on the Lake” project or the Group’s activities.

Given that the operating entities of the Group are legal entities registered in Romania (companies within the European Union), the processing of personal data is primarily governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable supplementary Romanian law (such as Law No. 190/2018). In addition, and without derogating from the above, Israeli residents and citizens are granted additional rights under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, as detailed in Section G below.

This Policy is drafted in the masculine form solely for convenience, and applies equally to all genders.

Section B – Purposes of Processing, Legal Bases, and Categories of Data

1. Execution and Performance of Purchase Agreements/Order Forms, and Compliance with Contractual and Statutory Obligations

   Name, identification details, signature, contact details, property details, and banking information, for the purpose of preparing purchase agreements, payments, and accounting records.

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) of the GDPR (performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests).

2. Operation and Maintenance of the Website

   Including the use of cookies as detailed in Section H below.

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR (consent, legitimate interests).

3. Marketing and Advertising

   Including direct marketing and newsletters.

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent), and subject also to the provisions of the Israeli Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982, with respect to Israeli recipients.

4. Responding to Inquiries, Questions, and Support Requests

   Via “Contact Us” forms on the Website, email, or telephone.

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(a) and/or (b) and/or (f) of the GDPR.

5. Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Obligations

   Including anti-money laundering (AML) laws, taxation, and real estate regulatory requirements relevant to the project (such as Law No. 207/2025).

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

6. Communication with Business Partners, Brokers, and Vendors

   For project operational needs.

   Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR.

We do not knowingly process personal data of minors without parental or guardian consent.

Section C – Data Security

We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data; however, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet or stored electronically. We continuously endeavor to enhance our security measures.
